Saudi Arabia has two coastlines on opposite sides of the country, and the first thing we ask is which one your yacht is heading for. The Gulf side around Dammam is a drive from Dubai. The Red Sea side around Jeddah is a different trip entirely, and that's where most of the new superyacht marinas are opening.

Saudi road limits you should know
Saudi Arabia's roads authority updated its oversize rules in September 2025. A standard load can be up to:
- 45 tonnes
- 23 m long
- 3.2 m wide
- 5 m high
Anything bigger needs a special permit, filed online, and it may only be allowed to travel at certain times of day. We check your yacht against these figures before quoting a road job, and we file the permit if it's needed.
What's new on the Red Sea
Jeddah Yacht Club has more than 90 berths for yachts up to 120 m. Red Sea Global is linking AMAALA Marina and Shura Island Marina into one network from winter 2026, with 278 berths between them. Foreign private yachts on the Red Sea come under the Saudi Red Sea Authority, and arrival paperwork goes through its Ebhar platform with a licensed yacht agent. If your yacht is arriving by ship, customs treats it as cargo, so we sort out the import side before it leaves the loading port.
Securing a yacht for a long sea passage
The sea route to the Red Sea is long, and the boat has to sit still the whole way. It rides on a cradle built for its hull, with the cradle fixed to the ship's deck and the yacht strapped down at several points. Our loadmaster watches the lift and signs off the lashing, and a survey report records the yacht's condition before and after the voyage.
